A Calgary woman has been given four months of house arrest along with one-year probation after placing blood on a jail cell at the PG RCMP detachment.
Police and the BC’s online court registry confirmed to MyPGNow.com that 27-year-old Adut Wol Madut pled guilty on Monday (January 27th) to mischief and assaulting a police officer.
It stems from an incident in February of 2024 where Madut was taken into custody following a disturbance at the Association Advocating for Women and Community shelter on George Street.
Madut’s house arrest order includes an allowance to leave her Calgary residence to attend appointments and shop for groceries in two-hour blocks, three times per week.
According to the online registry, Madut was also charged for allegedly causing a disturbance, willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer and breaching a release order a month later (March 21, 2024).
