Coldsnap 2025 is just a week away, and is looking to be packed with music-goers.
The festival, which is from February 5th to the 9th, will have various performances through the afternoon and evenings each day, including workshops.
Communications and Operations Manager Katherine Benny says people can get involved with Acoustic in the Rounds sessions at Knox Performance Centre from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
“These are some unplugged opportunities to enjoy some of our visiting artist’s music, but we’ll also have a Celtic Jam on Friday if folks were wanting to bring a fiddle or guitar with them.”
Benny says Acoustic in the Rounds, along with some other daytime events will be free to attend, similar to past years.
This year will also have two ticketed events for Coldsnap for Kids on Saturday and Sunday, expanding from the previous solo event.
The introduction of festival passes was the biggest change for this year, which Benny says has already sold out, and are looking forward to seeing how people enjoy using them.
More information and tickets can be found on the Coldsnap music festival website here.
