It was another golden performance for PG’s Carolina Hiller.
The PG Blizzard alum and two-time world champion was part of a Canadian trio that claimed gold at Calgary’s Olympic Oval on Sunday at the ISU World Cup Speed Skating Championship.
Team Canada, who finished with a blistering time of 1:24.90 consisted of Hiller, Beatrice Lamarche and, Ivanie Blondin, beating out Poland (+1.12) and Kazakhstan (+1.46).

All three also captured gold at the Four Continents championships in Hachinohe, Japan in November.
World Cup speedskating action continues from Milwaukee, Wisconsin this weekend with races also scheduled in the Netherlands and Poland later in February.
The world championships are slated for March 13-16 in Hamar, Norway.
