Province’s Employees Union says dispute likely as contract talks kick off

Negotiations are now under way between the province and its 34-thousand workers.

But the president of the B-C Government Employees Union is warning there’s a “high probability” of a dispute.

Paul Finch admits there are challenges facing the provincial government.

But he says his members are hurting too….facing a housing and a cost-of-living crisis..

Their contract expires March 31st.
