Vanderhoof RCMP investigating suspicious death

The Vanderhoof RCMP are investigating the death of a 65-year-old man.

Yesterday (Tuesday), police were called to a residence in the 100 block of 5th Street in the community for a check well-being call, where upon arrival, the man was deceased with injuries.

Police said the North District Major Crime Unit is conducting the investigation, and are on scene.

The investigation is in its infancy, and police are treating the death as suspicious.

Anyone with information or CCTV footage in the area between January 10th to 14th, is asked to contact Vanderhoof RCMP at 250-567-2222.
