The Prince George RCMP responded to fired shots near Upper Fraser Road.
On Sunday, just after 1:30pm, police received the report, and a subsequent investigation led them to a house on the 16700 block of East Perry Road.
Corporal Jennifer Cooper says a firearms search warrant was needed due to the nature of the incident and the known history of the residents.
“The North District Emergency Response team, the RCMP helicopter Air 3, and our Police Dog Services unit were all called in to assist with the execution of the search warrant.”
“Six people were arrested in connection with the investigation.”
Cooper says five of the six were released pending the investigation’s full result, with the sixth remaining in custody on his outstanding arrest warrants.
Two firearms found during the search, as well as a stolen vehicle were seized for further investigation.
She says there is no danger to the public.
