WHL:
The Prince George Cougars were unable take down the Kelowna Rockets last night as the final score was 6-3.
The Cougars kept the game tied at three a piece through the second period, but a three goal third period for Kelowna sealed the deal.

It wasn’t an overall bad night for Prince George hockey, as the Spruce Kings squeaked out a 4-3 win in overtime over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs yesterday.

The U-18 Cariboo Cougars are on the road this afternoon, as they take on the Vancouver North East Chiefs at 3:30.
Their road trip continues tomorrow when they face the Chiefs again at 10:45am.

Canada West Basketball:
The UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team start 2025 with a loss, as they fell to the Fraser Valley Cascades 51-40 yesterday.
As for the Timberwolves men’s team, it was a similar story, as they lost to the Cascades 90-58.
Today, both teams face the UBC Thunderbirds, with the men’s game at 6:00pm and women’s at 4:00pm.
