The U-18 Cougars play their next two games in Fort St. James against the Valley West Giants; Saturday night at 6:30 outdoors (at the Ernie Sam Memorial Arena) and Sunday morning at 10:00 indoors (at the Fort Forum Arena).

It is a match-up of the top two teams in the 8-team league with the (18-4-1-1) U-18 Cougars in first place by three points over the (17-7-0-1) Giants.

The U-18 Female Northern Capitals will also play outdoors in Fort St James Friday night at 6:00 (at the Ernie Sam Memorial Arena) against the Fraser Valley Rush.

The (9-10-0-1) Capitals and (7-9-1-2) Rush also meet Saturday morning at 11:00 in Vanderhoof.

Mike Vrabel has been hired as head coach of the New England Patriots.

Vrabel played linebacker for the Patriots from 2001 to 2008.

He was also the Tennessee Titans head coach from 2018 to 2023, posting a 54-45 regular-season record and 2-3 mark in the playoffs.
