Prince George Cougars to have ceremonial puck drop with local artist

The CN Centre will have a special guest in attendance help with the Prince George Cougar’s ceremonial puck drop tonight (January 3rd).

Artist Robert Sebastian will be the one dropping the puck, and has also donated one of his artworks that will be raffled off for free to fans.

Sebastian spoke about the ties between his art piece and the Cougars.

“There’s a pre-draw that’s out for one of my latest prints. It’s called the Cougars Den, and in cougars den, they are lonely animals, so it counts on their speed, their formidability, and it’s like our fantastic team.”

The raffle for the art piece begins today, and will be open until January 22nd.

More information, and where to enter the raffle can be found on the Prince George Cougars website here.
