The BC Prosecution Service has approved charges in connection with a death in the community of Anahim Lake.
22-year old Winston Tallio, a Nimpo Lake resident, is facing one count of manslaughter.
He remains in custody pending his next court appearance, and is charged in connection with the death of a 26-year old man.
RCMP responded to a report of a fight at a residence near Nimpo Lake on Monday evening, and upon arrival, the victim was in medical distress suffering from stab wounds.
Life saving measures were performed but police said the man succumbed to his injuries.
