The Prince George Public Library have filled a position with a familiar face.
Larissa Clotildes will be the new Manager of Communications and Engagement temporarily, who was previously the Community Engagement Librarian for Youth and Adult, and has been with the library since 2010.
Clotildes says she already has an understanding of the new role, as the positions are under the same department.
“I’m coming to this role from the engagement side of the work, and that’s one area I know very well now.”
“Now it’s really interesting to be able to get the more holistic view of how it all fits together.”
Clotildes added that it was for that reason she decided to pursue the temporary role, which is a six-month term.
She officially started the new position a few weeks ago, saying there hasn’t been any surprises, but notes the learning curve involved.
Clotildes says she’s excited to take on the role, as it’s another opportunity to grow at the library and in her hometown.
