The Prince George Cougars return home for the first time in 2025 as they welcome the Seattle Thunderbirds Friday (7pm) and Saturday (6pm) from CN Centre.

PG (21-9-3-2) is four points up on the Victoria Royals (18-11-3-4) for the BC Division lead.

BCHL:

The next action for the Prince George Spruce Kings (10-15-3-1) is a road double-header Friday and Saturday against the Chilliwack Chiefs (19-7-3-0) and Surrey Eagles (16-11-3-0).

PG is tied with the Nanaimo Clippers for the final playoff spot in the BCHL’s Coastal Conference.

World Juniors:

Medal Round

Canada will look to keep its medal hopes alive in quarterfinal action against Czechia tonight (4:30 pm) in Ottawa.

It one of four matchups on the schedule which also include Sweden against Latvia (9am), United States playing Switzerland (11:30 AM) and Finland locking horns against Slovakia (2:00pm).

McBride’s Tanner Molendyk of the Saskatoon Blades is on Team Canada.

Ohio State 41 Oregon 21 – Rose Bowl

The last quarter final to be played is the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans as the Georgia Bulldogs take on Notre Dame at 1pm Pacific Time.

Toronto Raptors 130 Brooklyn Nets 113

Scottie Barnes recorded a double-double that included 33 points and 13 rebounds.

The Raptors improve to 8-26 while the Nets drop to 12-21.
