Police are looking into the suspicious death of a man on the outskirts of Mackenzie.
Just after 10 a.m. yesterday (Saturday), the Mackenzie RCMP responded to a report of a man lying on the edge of the roadway.
Officers attended to the Finlay Community Connector Forrest Service Road near the Litnit Creek bridge and located the victim.
The Major Crimes Unit has taken conduct of the investigation and is working closely in partnership with the Mackenzie RCMP and the BC Coroners Service.
Mounties are asking any witnesses who may have been in the area Finlay Community Connector Forrest Service Road near the Litnit Creek bridge between 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday with dash-camera video to contact the Mackenzie RCMP.
