Koehn Ziemmer scored the lone goal in the shootout to give the Cougars the win.

 Josh Ravenbergen was outstanding, making 29 saves and stopping all shots he faced in the shootout.

Riley Heidt scored the Cougars’ lone goal in regulation.

The Cougars dropped their opener in the annual Circle K Classic, a U18 AAA Tournament in Calgary that attracts teams from across the world.

The Cougars’ next game of the tournament is tonight against Detroit Victory Honda.
