The Spruce Kings have signed goaltender Dylan Johnson (05) for the remainder of the season, as Colin Reay requires season ending surgery.

The lone Canadian team in action is the Toronto Maple Leafs who slide over to the Motor City and play the struggling Detroit Red Wings.
Detroit fired head coach Derek Lalonde and assistant Bob Boughner on Thursday and replaced them with Todd McLennan (Head Coach) and Trent Yawney (Associate Coach).
