The threat of another national rail strike, scheduled to start January 1st, has been averted.
UNIFOR says its three-thousand members at Canadian National have voted in favour of a new contract reached earlier this month.
The union says the four-year pact includes higher wages and improved benefits, as well as job protections for members working in CN terminals and headquarters across Canada.
