The Regional District of Fraser – Fort George was given an update on Thursday for the Foothills Boulevard Regional Landfill’s second cell project.
Landfill cells are the location where municipal solid waste is deposited, which have a 10 year lifespan.
The update provided to the board stated the first half of the estimated $15.665 million second cell is expected to be ready for use by late 2027.
The Regional District of Fraser – Fort George board meeting also covered Robson Valley Recreation Centre repairs and community and recreation grants.
