The annual Cram-A-Cruiser event put on by the Prince George RCMP was another success this year, benefitting the Salvation Army.
Mounties were stationed outside of two Save-On-Food locations in Prince George, where officers and other volunteers greeted and asked shoppers for donations of food and toiletries.
“The residents of Prince George did not disappoint us this year: we received nearly 3,000 pounds of food and over $1,600 in cash and gift card donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank. We exceeded expectations and we have the generosity of those who participated to thank for such an amazing result,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
“The Salvation Army is a valuable partner, as they work closely with our RCMP Victim Services unit, helping families during times of crisis. This was an opportunity for us to give back to their organization.”
