The Prince George Cougars start a four-game road trip tonight (Wednesday 7:00) against (18-6-2) Tri-City Americans.
The (15-8-3-2) Cougars are tied with the (15-10-3-2) Victoria Royals for first in the B.C. Division but the Cats have two games in hand.
Corbin Vaughan will make his debut on the Prince George blueline.
The Cougars acquired the 18-year-old hard-nosed defenseman from the Regina Pats in exchange for 19-year-old defenseman Ephram McNutt and a second-round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
In 98 games with the Pats, Vaughan had 14 points (4-10) and a whopping 165 penalty minutes.
