A pair of Cariboo Cougars are being recognized for their stellar play by the BC Elite Hockey League.
Forward, Rylan Bissett of Chetwynd, who plays for the U-18 Cougars was named the forward of the month for November after tallying ten goals and three assists in seven games played.
Bissett is the second-leading scorer for on Cariboo with 28 points, one behind Jaxon Larmand (29).
The U18’s sit in top spot in the eight-team league with a mark of 13-3-1-1. Their next games are next weekend (December 14th and 15th) in Chilliwack against the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (11-5-0-1).
In addition, Cariboo blueliner Tavon Peterson of the U15 program was named defenceman of the month after recording seven points in three games.
The PG product is roughly on a point-per-game pace this season with 12 in 13 contests.
Cariboo sits third in the U-15 AAA division with a record of 9-4-1-0. They are back in action December 14th and 15th against the Valley West Giants (7-8-0-2) from Kin 1.
