For the  third game in a row and the fourth time this season, the Prince George Cougars have lost to a goalie making his WHL debut.

Parker Snell made 29 saves to shut out the Cougars.

With the loss, the Cougars (13-8-3-2) fall behind the Victoria Royals (14-8-3-2) in the WHL’s BC Division standings. The Cougars also dropped down to fifth in the Western Conference.

BCHL:

Langley Rivermen  8  Prince George Spruce Kings  5

Nicolas Papineau scored twice while Kazumo Sasaki, Will More and Brady Anes each scored once for the Spruce Kings.

Carter Wishart got the start for Prince George, but got hooked in the first period after allowing four goals on 11 shots.

Ryder Green came in relief, and made 14 saves on 17 shots.
