BC gamblers once again have their eye on the prize as another big jackpot is up for grabs.
Tonight’s (Friday) Lotto Max jackpot is 80-million dollars while another 20 maxmillion prizes are up for grabs.
BC Lottery Corporation spokesperson, Shelley Wong told Vista Radio seeing Canada’s largest jackpot in history rollover once again will lead to a spike in sales.
“Of course, anytime we see these really large numbers there is excitement from our players and the rest of the country – we are glad that everyone has the opportunity to win such a life-changing amount of money because the truly is a stunning amount.”
“The higher the jackpots get that is when we do see a spike in sales. Of course, the spike in sales happens a few hours right before the draw – we don’t have exact figures but this is kind of the anticipated pattern anytime there is such a large jackpot available to win.”
The deadline to purchase your ticket is 7:30 tonight (Friday).
In 2021, Gary Hill of Kamloops was one of two co-winners of a 70-million dollar Lotto Max Jackpot.
