The Prince George RCMP conducted three Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants leading to multiple arrests.
Through the month of November, the Street Crew Unit executed the searches in support of an ongoing investigation.
They said in a news release that the searches were at the residences on the 6000 block of Simon Fraser Avenue, the 13000 block of Coach Road, and the 1800 block of Sinclair Road.
Three people were arrested in connection with the investigation and were released pending charge approval by the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.
Street Crew Unit Commander, Sergeant Dan Morris said “These enforcement actions were taken as a result of our commitment to enhancing public safety by targeting those people involved in bringing weapons, illicit drugs and violence into our community,”
Police believe those arrests have criminal ties to Alberta, and the investigation is ongoing.
