BC politicians will be heading back to work in mid-February – roughly five months after the completion of the provincial election.
According to the Premier’s Office, the Legislature will begin with the Throne Speech on February 18th.
As a result, Budget Day has been pushed back until March 4th.
Premier David Eby noted it won’t be until March, at the earliest, that British Columbians will get their rebate cheque – of up to $1,000 for families
The spring session wraps up on May 29th.
