Prince George Cougars goaltender Josh Ravensbergen will be representing the Western Hockey League in the CHL USA Prospects Challenge this week.
Ravensbergen said he’s excited for the opportunity.
“I remember watching the games a couple years ago, it was in Van, and I think I watched it online, I just really wanted to be there and now I get the chance to go play, so I’m super excited for it.”
“I was really hoping that I’d get the invite, but when I got it, it was kind of a relief that I’m going for sure.”
Ravensbergen is an ‘A’ rated prospect by NHL Central Scouting for the 2025 NHL Draft.
“(I’m) playing with some of the best players of my age in Canada, and to play against the USNTDP, that will be really cool.”
