Saints rally to dethrone Spruce Kings

The Prince George Spruce Kings found themselves on the losing end of a 5-2 score at the hands of the Spruce Grove Saints.

Trent Ballentyne and Brock Cummings put Prince George out front in the first period to the elation of the 1,108 fans at Kopar Memorial Arena.

However the Saints scored twice in the second and added one more in the third to gain the lead.

They’ll held it for the rest of the game, with James Richards putting the puck into the empty net for an insurance marker in the final minute.
