The Prince George area will see a fairly gradual drop in temperatures this week.
Winds are expected to be the most important phenomenon during the day due to the “bomb cyclone” by Vancouver Island.
Meteorologist Brian Proctor says we can expect to see a real temperature shift at the end of the week.
“By the time we get into Friday, we start seeing colder air really seeping down. daytime high of minus 9, overnight as low of minus 13.
“Saturday daytime highs of minus 13, overnight low of minus 25.”
Proctor says early next week is when we’ll see a little moderation back to seasonal temperatures of around minus one in the day and minus eight overnight.
He added it’s important people stay aware of what’s happening, dress accordingly, and help the marginalized citizens if possible.
