WHL:

Kelowna Rockets  5  Prince George Cougars  4

Koehn Ziemmer scored late to give the Cougars a 4-3 lead, but Michael Cicek tied it, and Washington Capitals prospect Andrew Cristall scored the winner for Kelowna.

 It’s the first regulation loss at home for the Cougars since January.

The Cougars (12-5-3-2) remain on top of the WHL’s BC Division and are second in the Western Conference.

Chilliwack Chiefs  3  Prince George Spruce Kings  2

Skogen Schrott and Brogan McNeil scored for the Spruce Kings.

Mateo Mrsic scored the winner for the Chiefs with just 24 seconds left.
