Various individuals, groups, and organizations are packing shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene products for kids in need worldwide.
Operation Christmas Child is an annual initiative of Samaritan’s Purse that works with over 100 countries, filling more than 425,000 shoeboxes in Canada last year.
The $12-per-box donated, which covers shipping and other program costs, has gone to children facing poverty, disease, war, and natural disasters.
