School District 57 trustees had a brief election for 5 different roles on the board during Tuesday night’s meeting.
The voting was for their Chairperson, Vice-Chair, BC School Trustee Association (BCSTA) Provincial Council Representative and alternate, and BC Public School Employers’ Association (BCPSEA) Representative and alternate.
Craig Brennan was the only person nominated for Chairperson and will keep his role, and the Vice-Chair position will remain with Erica McLean for another year.
BCSTA Provincial Council Representative went to Shar McCrory, the only nominee, with the alternate going to Bob Thompson.
Voting was only conducted for the BCPSEA Representative role, where Sarah Holland was elected over Rachel Weber.
Weber declined to accept the nomination for the alternate role, with the position going to McCrory.
