The City of Prince George is giving residents the opportunity to provide final feedback on the draft Official Community Plan. (OCP)
The document is the product of an extensive 18-month planning process, including thorough research, technical analysis, and input from residents, landowners, business owners and community organizations across the City.
It will outline a long-term vision and comprehensive framework for development, land use, and community growth to 2050.
“From shaping our neighborhoods to preserving our natural spaces, the OCP sets the stage for a balanced future,” said Kali Holahan, Supervisor of Land Use Planning.
“This is the final opportunity for residents to make their voices heard, ensuring that the policies in our OCP reflect the community’s values and aspirations.”
Residents are invited to meet the planning team in person and provide feedback on the draft OCP at a pair of sessions at Pine Centre Mall.
These will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) and on November 20th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This feedback will be gathered through on a online survey that will be available until November 22nd.
