City of PG accepting applications for Celebrate PG Grant

The City of Prince George is accepting applications for the 2025 intake of the Celebrate PG Grant.

The grant supports registered non-profits in launching new or enhancing existing events that foster community pride and draw visitors to the city.

These grants range from $5,000 to $10,000, depending on the type of event.

Eligible applicants must be registered non-profit societies, and the events must be held within Prince George city limits and open to the public.

The grant can fund enhancements to visitor experiences, expanding a one-day event into two, and marketing expenses.

Last year, the City awarded nearly $30,000 in funding to several events, including Pops in the Park, the Pride Picnic, Method Dance Society’s Community Moves Event, Coldsnap, and the Wild About Lheidli T’enneh/Prince George outdoor festival.

The deadline to apply is December 13th at 4:30 pm.
