PG Chamber hands out the hardware during Business Excellence Awards

A trio of local businesses won two awards each during the 39th annual Business Excellence Awards hosted by the PG Chamber of Commerce.

Tracey Johnson of Cheeseneeds captured Business Person of the Year and in Customer Service.

Baller Food’s Kate Hawley took home the Excellence in Food and Beverage and in the Promotion and Marketing categories.

In addition, Canadian Tire’s Selen Alpay claimed the Excellence in Business Philanthropy trophy and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his accomplishments in the local business community.

3 Goblins Games won the Business of the Year trophy.

Other winners included:

Acres Enterprises (Excellence in Technological Innovation)

Nechako Ridge Denturist  (BIPOC Business of the Year)

The Exploration Place (Excellence in Entertainment and Attractions)

Prince George Community Foundation (Excellence in Not for Profit and Community Service)

Wall to Wall – Renovate Recycle Restore (Excellence in Environmental Impact)

“It was an amazing night to celebrate the very best of the Prince George business community,” said Neil Godbout, PG Chamber Executive Director.

The 40th Annual Business Excellence Awards will be handed out during a gala dinner on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at the Conference and Civic Centre.

Jody Wilson Raybould, the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, will be the guest speaker.
