Pair of stray pooches found near Prince George find forever homes

A pair of stray dogs found near Prince George with porcupine quills in their face have found happy endings.

Lucky and Charm were spotted near a forest service road outside of Prince George by a worker.

According to the BC SPCA, the worker brought the injured dogs to a vet, who contacted the BC SPCA.

The organization made sure both dogs received proper medical care to remove the quills, and gave them the behavioral support they needed after being strays for so long.

Charm needed some extra work, including a fractured tooth that needed to be removed.

The BC SPCA says he loves to follow his family around the yard, and is always wanting to be a part of what they’re doing.

Meanwhile, Lucky was renamed Kaya and now lives on Vancouver Island.

The BC SPCA says Kaya loves to explore the outdoors, and his favourite toy is a large rubber ball.
