A two day forestry innovation conference is set to kick-off in Prince George today.
It is being held at UNBC and Ecosystem Science and Management Chair, Dr. Kathy Lewis says it will have no shortage of guest speakers.
“Bob Simpson is coming in and talking about forest community perspectives, the Assistant Deputy Minister Dave Peterson is coming to speak about innovation and competitiveness within the industry.”
The keynote speaker is Dr. Mohini Sain who is the Dean of Forestry at the University of Toronto.
It starts at 1pm this afternoon and will run until 5.
Day 2 will begin tomorrow at 9:30 am with it concluding at 5 pm.
