The (5-8-2-1) Spruce Kings host the (7-8) Cowichan Valley Capitals Friday night (Nov 8) at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00.

Prince George Cougars  6  Kamloops Blazers  3  (Friday)

Koehn Ziemmer had a hat trick to give him 101 career goals in a PG Cougars uniform.

Terik Parascak added a goal and two assists for the (9-4-2-2) Cougars who begin a 6-game homestand Tuesday night at 7:00 against the (10-3-1-1) Saskatoon Blades.

(Parascak has 15 points in his last six games)

Prince George leads the B.C. Division while Saskatoon is first in the East Division.

The Blades are coming off a 5-4 Sunday shootout loss in Victoria where Saskatoon blew a 4-1 third period lead.

The (8-2-1-1) U-18 Cougars visit the (4-4-1-1) Okanagan Rockets Saturday at 3 PM and Sunday morning at 10:00 in Kelowna.

Cariboo is in second place in the 8-team League, a point behind the (9-2-0-1) Valley West Giants.

PG High School Football:

College Heights won the PG Bowl North Zone High School Football Championship by outscoring Nechako Valley 14-7 Friday night at Masich Place Stadium.

College Heights advances to the BC School Sports Football Championship.

They are ranked 5th in AA, and will battle #4 Holy Cross at the provincials.

 

NFL: (Week 9)  Sunday Night game

The Monday Night game (5:15 kickoff) to conclude Week 9 has (4-4) Tampa Bay at (7-0) Kansas city.

The (2-7) New Orleans Saints have fired head coach Dennis Allen and replaced him with
Special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi on an interim basis.

Saskatchewan Roughriders  28  B.C. Lions  19  (Saturday in Regina)

The Riders move on to the West Final in Winnipeg against the Blue Bombers Saturday at 3:30 PM.

The Argos advance to the Eastern Final against the Alouettes Saturday at noon in Montreal.
