Studio Fair to have record number of local artisans and non-profit organizations

Studio Fair attendees will see more local artisans and non-profit organizations this weekend.

The event, put on by the Community Arts Council of Prince George & District (CAC), will be having over 300 vendors from across Canada take part.

Executive Director, Eli Klasner says this year will see 30 new vendors.

“It’s grown exponentially since just before the pandemic. We used to be down at the Prince George Civic Centre with around 80 artists and arts groups, and then we moved to the CN Centre and we are almost out of space in the entire venue.”

Along with the additional local artisans, Klasner says 18 local non-profits will be attending as guests of the CAC.

He notes the City exists and thrives because of non-profits, and help make the event perfect and complete.

The CAC is also providing over $6,000 worth of free display space for local groups to help their annual fundraising and ticket sales efforts.

Entry is $10, and encourage people to bring non-perishable food donations for the local food bank.

The fair will be at the CN Centre, from Friday to Sunday, with times on their website here.
