322 motorbikes took to the streets on Sunday for the 34th Annual Motorcycle Toy Run.
This year the Toy Run was able to fill six watermelon cartons with toys, as well as over two thousand dollars in cash and gift cards.
It’s all going towards the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper Program.
“We usually see 800 to 1200 families at Christmas” said Salvation Army Business Manager Bill Glasgow. “This will really help put a dent in the amount of money we have to help these families at Christmas time.”
The drive is organized by the Prince George Harley Owners Group.
“The Harley Owners Group decided 34 years ago that they wanted to help out the Salvation Army at Christmas time” said Glasgow. “They put together this toy run and now it’s run through many communities.”
The Salvation Army has been helping families and individuals in Prince George for 93 years.
