Riley Heidt was a key player in the outcome, putting up 5 points.
The Cougars host the Royals again tonight at 6:00.

The (4-7-1-1) Prince George Spruce Kings picked up a 5-1 win on the road against the (2-8-2) Powell River Kings.
Both teams face each other tonight at 7:00 at the Hap Parker Arena.

The UNBC Timberwolves begin their Canada West men’s and women’s basketball season on Friday, November 1st when they visit the UBC Okanagan Heat in Kelowna (5 and 7 PM).
The UNBC home openers will go on Sunday, November 3rd against Thompson Rivers University of Kamloops starting with the women at 2:00 followed by the men at 4:00.
