Prince George will be well represented at the 2024 CHL USA Prospects Challenge.
Prince George Cougars goaltender Josh Ravensbergen and Prince George Product Cameron Schmidt (Vancouver Giants) were among ten WHL players selected to represent the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) in the event. The full roster is here.
Ravensbergen is leading the WHL in wins, while Schmidt is leading the league in goals (12) and is tied for the lead in points (19).
The new event is a two-game series between the top NHL draft-eligible prospects in the CHL and USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program.
Game one is scheduled for November 26th in London, Ontario, and game two will take place the following day in Oshawa, Ontario.
