Carrier Sekani Family Services are taking the next steps to address violence against women in the Burns Lake area.
Director, Mary Teegee says they are planning a forum in the spring.
“What we are going to be doing is bringing together municipalities, chiefs and senior government officials and really looking at a strategy for the Burns Lake area.”
The organization received 30 thousand dollars from the province back in March in order to host the forum.
