WHL:
The (6-4-2-1) Prince George Cougars host the (6-1-1-1) Victoria Royals Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00.
This will be the start of a stretch of 10 games where nine of them are on home ice.
Before coming to P.G., the Royals play tonight (Tuesday) in Kamloops and Wednesday in Kelowna.
The Cougars lead the B.C. Division by a point over Victoria, although the Royals have four games in hand.

The (3-7-1-1) Prince George Spruce Kings, who have lost their last five, visit the (2-7-2) Powell River Kings on Friday and Saturday at 7 PM.

Canada West Soccer:
The season is over for the UNBC Timberwolves in Canada West Soccer.
The UNBC men finished with a record of 2-12-2 while the UNBC women ended up 1-13.

CFL:
The B.C. Lions will find out this weekend who they will face in the playoffs.
The (9-9) Lions have completed their regular season and will finish 3rd in the West Division.
They will start the playoffs on the road at either Saskatchewan or Winnipeg on Saturday, November 2nd.
The (10-7) Blue Bombers visit Montreal Saturday at noon and the (9-7-1) Roughriders host Calgary Saturday at 4 PM.
Winnipeg is first by a point over Saskatchewan.

The NBA regular season tips off tonight with a pair of games: New York at Boston followed by Minnesota at LA Lakers.
The Toronto Raptors begin Wednesday (4:30 PM) when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees begins Friday night (at 5:08) in LA.
It will be a 2-3-2 format with the middle three games (Oct 28th to 30th) scheduled for Yankee Stadium.
