A vehicle collision that claimed two lives is being investigated by Vanderhoof RCMP.
Police said on Friday (October 11th), at 8:24pm, police were notified of a single-vehicle crash involving an animal.
They were later notified two people who attended the scene to assist with the animal-involved collision had been involved in a separate, unrelated collision.
Their vehicle had been struck by another and was on its roof, where the two people who were trapped inside were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested one person and believe alcohol may be a factor.
Police say no further information is available at this time, and more details may be released as they become available.
