An interactive gallery will soon be implemented into The Exploration Place.
The new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) gallery will be a permanent feature for kids supported by the Y.P. Heung Foundation.
Executive Director, Alyssa Leier says this crosses off a big need.
“It’s going to really show visitors that we’re listening, and the new STEAM interactives will feature hands-on pictures, activity designs, and they’re really going to get the youngest visitors excited about learning.”
She added the project has been in the works over the last few months after visitors had asked for more interactive activities for young kids.
Visitors will start to see parts of the new gallery between January and March of next year.
