Prince George and area residents can look forward to live music with an award-winning artist.
Music in the Fall will be having two artists, one being JUNO award winner Celeigh Cardinal, and AV & The Inner City, bringing a mix of soul, roots and blues.
Prince George Folkfest Society Operations Manager, Katherine Benny says they’re looking forward to the event.
“A beautiful thing about the shows that we put on, we put a lot of care into the production side of things.”
“For us, if you’re coming to a Coldsnap show, we are really striving for excellence with sound quality and acoustics.”
Benny says this is a great opportunity to hear an artist you’re unfamiliar with.
The event originally began primarily as a virtual event in 2021, and in 2023, had a hip-hop artist perform live.
She says as they take a different turn with the genre, they’re looking forward to celebrating arts and culture.
The event will be on October 26th, with doors opening at 7:00 pm, at the Knox Performance Centre.
