The College of New Caledonia’s Dental Hygiene program is seeking new patients for the fall semester.
Dental students provide a variety services under supervision from licensed, experienced dental practitioners for a flat fee of $50.
“We pride ourselves in having an outstanding reputation for educating skilled dental professionals,” said senior clinic lead Diane Horita.
“Students are actively involved in our dental clinic where they get the opportunity to work with various population groups and oral health care needs. Our clinic creates an accessible and welcoming space for learning and community services.”
Services range from comprehensive dental hygiene care, single procedures such as fissure sealants, full mouth series of x-rays, panorex, and sports guards.
However the clinic doesn’t provide emergency dental services or restorative services, such as fillings or dentures.
The clinic runs until early May, and will be closed on statutory holidays and over Christmas.
