Okanagan Sun 37 Prince George Kodiaks 6
Despite the score, it was a strong game defensively for the Kodiaks, only allowing four offensive touchdowns by one of, if not the best team in the country.
Offensively, it was a disastrous first quarter, as the Kodiaks threw four picks in the opening frame.
The Kodiaks were resting starting quarterback Sawyer Thiessen, and played four different quarterbacks in the game, mostly rotating them through each offensive series.
With the loss, the Kodiaks drop to 1-7 on the season, and are at the bottom of the BCFC standings.

The Kodiaks are on a bye week, before their final home game of the season on September 28th against the Kamloops Broncos.

Evan Groening scored the lone marker for the Cougars in front of the Quesnel crowd at the West Fraser Centre.
Josh Ravensbergen got the start between the pipes, making 23 saves on 25 shots.

The Cougars open their season on Friday at the CN Centre, when they host the Spokane Chiefs.

Ryan Watchel, Cooper Williams, and Brogan McNeil scored for the Spruce Kings in the win.
Ryder Green got the start in the Prince George net, making 22 saves.
