A scary incident at College Heights Secondary after a teacher was injured yesterday (Thursday) during a classroom incident.
SD 57 superintendent, Jameel Aziz told MyPGNow.com the school board is wasting little time looking into what happened.
“The incident is being further investigated and the appropriate consequences will be put into place. We are also concerned for the students that witnessed that action and want to make sure they feel supported and are safe being at school.”
Aziz noted the classroom was cleared with students being escorted to another part of the building where staff and student council provided support. The administration later came in and addressed the matter.
He confirmed the teacher did receive medical attention.
