The Prince George Spruce Kings are still winless after dropping a 4-1 decision to the Surrey Eagles tonight (Sun).
The Spruce Kings jumped out to an early 1-0 after Jake LeBrun scored on the power play 2:18 into the game.
In the second, the Eagles would tie it up at one apiece shorthanded at 16:35 thanks to Paul McAvoy.
Surrey would pour it on in the third period with three goals with the winner coming off the stick of Matt Hermary at 3:07.
Darius Davidson would then score both of his goals including one on the power play at 5:26 to give Surrey the 4-1 win.
Prince George went 1 for 8 on the power play, while Surrey went 1 for 4.
Same Tanguay made 30 saves on 33 shots in the loss.
The Spruce Kings are now off to the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack with games against Trail and Victoria on Saturday and Sunday.
