MLB:

The (58-67) Blue Jays are 0-1 on a 7-game homestand that continues tonight (Tuesday 4:07) against the (61-64) Reds.

The (64-62) Mariners are 1-6 on a 9-game road trip that will continue tonight at 7:10 against the (74-52) Dodgers.

Seattle is in second place in the A.L. West, 5 games behind the (68-56) Houston Astros.

CFL: 

The (5-5) B.C. Lions, who have dropped their last four, play Saturday (4 PM) in Ottawa against the (6-2-1) Redblacks.

Week 12 of the CFL season starts Thursday at 4:30 with (5-4-1) Saskatchewan at (5-4) Toronto.

BCFC: 

The (1-4) Prince George Kodiaks will try to snap a 4-game losing streak when they host the (0-4) Kamloops Broncos Saturday night at 6:00 at Masich Place Stadium.

The Kodiaks have allowed an average of 48 points per game while scoring an average of 20 through their first five games which is the midway mark of their schedule.

UNBC Timberwolves:

The UNBC Timberwolves begin their Canada West men’s soccer season on the road this week.

UNBC visits the Fraser Valley Cascades Friday night at 6:00 and Sunday afternoon at 1:00.

The Timberwolves home openers will be August 30th and 31st (6:00 each night) against the Victoria Vikes.
